Humanitarian train to Ukraine for Protection Civile française

We are very proud that, Wednesday 23^rd March 2022, 11 of our wagons were used for the transport of almost 160 tons of items of hygiene and emergency equipment from Strasbourg to Romania (one train fully dedicated to this humanitarian transport – 500 pallets). Final destination of the goods (via a local organisation): Ukraine.

Thanks to the staff and partners who contributed to the organisation of this transport: Fret SNCF, Captrain France, SNCF Réseau, Deutsche Bahn, Association des Maires de France et des Présidents d’intercommunalité, Europorte Services, Port Autonome de Strasbourg and DB Cargo companies.

A second train has been scheduled for the following week.

All companies are acting for free, to try to bring humanity to Ukrainian refugees and citizens.
