“Mercancías al tren” in Barcelona

We were there! Jordi Ortuño (Head Ermewa Spain and Portugal – on the photo) represented us during this main event. A lot of VIPs were also there, mobilized to put in front of the scene the key role of rail freight transport for decarbonation!

“Mercancías al tren” came to Barcelona to make visible the importance of the railway in the fight against climate change. Port de Barcelona was the venue on May 6^th, 7^th and 8^th for a campaign that aims to bring the role of the freight railway in the future of sustainable transport closer to the citizens. Institutions, companies and non-profit organisations have come together to support this European initiative that aims to raise awareness of the need to create a supply chain free of CO₂  emissions, where the train is the central axis.

Francisco Javier Flores García, Secretary General of Infrastructures of the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda of the Spanish Government attended the presentation of the campaign to show the Ministry’s support for this type of transport.
