UIC symposium: Platinum sponsor

Created in 1922, UIC (International Union of Railways) is the international organisation for the worldwide promotion of rail transport and the collaborative development of the rail system.

On the 29^th and 30^th of November 2021, we had the pleasure to be the platinum sponsor of the UIC Symposium at it headquarter in Paris.

The topic of the Symposium was “The Future of the Railways: Making Modal Shift Desirable” where the aim was to “provide a roadmap for transforming the railways into a sustainable backbone for mobility over the next five, ten and 15 years.”

We exchanged with numerous participants who were very interested in our activities, vision, and ambitions. Our Managing Director, Peter Reinshagen, gave a speech at the cocktail party highlighting these topics among others.

We are delighted to have participated in this key event to discuss the ways and means of increasing modal shift from road to rail, in line with the Green Deal objectives, to contribute to decarbonation.
